Design Consultants was established in 1968 by Paul Adumua as the pioneer private practice Civil and Structural Engineering Firm. It has a long history and stellar reputation of work both in the public and private sector. Michael Adumua follows his father's legacy of being a conscientious, creative and customer-centric while adding his unique twist as an Architect and Interior Designer.

The Principal

Michael Adumua was born in Accra, Ghana in 1977. His passion for Art and Design was realized from a young age and nurtured through Design Consultants. He migrated to the United States after his A Levels where he studied Architecture at Howard University in Washington, D.C. In 2002 he was recruited by world-famous Casino Operator MGM Mirage to be a part of their Design Group in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He moved on to work with other design firms where he gained a literal world of knowledge by working on notable projects such as The Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, La Perla Casino in Panama and an upmarket Condominium Residence on Broadway in New York City. Michael Adumua made the transition back to Ghana in 2009 to re-brand Design Consultants as the premier innovative forward thinking Design firm to service Ghana's emerging hospitality industry.
